In the Search for text box, type one or more search terms and then click Search. This will return all matching documents in the document set.

Using wildcard characters can help you find things when you might not know (or know how to spell) the precise word. The asterisk ("*") wildcard can be substituted for zero or more unknown letters in a search term, while the question mark ("?") can stand in for exactly one letter. "Super*istic" will match "Supercalifragilistic", while "cr?p" will match "crop" and "crap" but not "cramp". Note: Asterisk wildcards match across word boundaries, so "cir*eak" will match "circular steak" and "circus freak".

In a Case-sensitive search, a search term matches only if all letters have the same case as a word in the document set. For example, "Pat" does not match "pat" in a case-sensitive search.

When Exclude partial words is selected, your search terms will only match entire words. By default, you can enter "legislat" to match "legislature", "legislation", and legislator". Turning on the "exclude partial words" feature will prevent "victor" from matching "victory", for example.

If Find every word is selected, a document will match only if every search term entered is found within it. For example, "Clinton scandal UN" will return only those documents that contain all three. Turning this off broadens the search, matching all documents that contain any of the search terms.

Selecting In exact order typed restricts the search so that it only matches documents containing the search terms in the same order that you entered them. When this is on, "Paranoid Android" will match documents that contain the word "Paranoid" right before the word "Android".

Note: Searching will match text within HTML code and URLs. That means that you might match a document where your search term isn't immediately visible. For example, if the document set contains a file that embeds a picture called "flimsy-flange.jpg", the search term "flange" will match the document when partial word searching is turned on.
